I’M A FULL-TIME HUSBAND, FATHER, AND GRAPHIC DESIGNER.
I was introduced to the world of art and design at a very early age; my father spent over a decade working as an art director at the ad agency J. Walter Thompson (now Wunderman Thompson) before becoming a freelance commercial illustrator. He worked from his studio at home, situating a child-sized drafting table for me across from his own. It seems from the time I could hold a crayon I knew I’d end up working as a creative one day.
As a young man I decided to become a graphic designer. I wanted to learn the trade from the bottom on up, so I began my career as a production artist at a commercial press and worked my way up to managing the digital department at a high-end commercial color lab. After gaining this invaluable experience I enrolled in art school, earning my BFA in Graphic Design (magna cum laude) from Purchase College School of Art + Design.
Since then I’ve worked predominantly within the wine & spirits industry. It’s a pleasure to market products I personally enjoy consuming, and the business offers a lot of freedom regarding the level of creativity designers can express within the work we do.
I live in Huntington, Long Island with my wife, two daughters, and new puppy.
